Leasing can be an advantageous arrangement for the horse and rider.
Benefits:
- Avoids initial investment required to buy a horse
- Allows rider to experience a better class of horse without having to share it with a number of other novice riders
- Both horse and rider are able to build a relationship of trust and understanding.
Fees included:
- Lease fee, paid to owner of horse (monthly or up front). Vary by owner and horse.
- Board and training. See below for half or full lease options.
- Shoeing, routine vet bills, and additional services as deemed by owner.
Lease Options:
Half Lease:
- Lease fee
- $1,100/month per person for boarding and training.
- Includes rotating schedule of 2 or 3 lessons per week between the two leasees.
- Other expenses split evenly.
Full Lease:
- Lease fee
- $2,185/month per person for boarding and training

- Includes 4 lessons per week, riding on non-lesson days for practice, and 7 days of horse care.
- Other expenses fall on leasee.
