The Winter Session classes will be held on March 10 and March 24, 2012.  The Spring Session classes TBD.  All classes will be held from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM.

Equine Theory Sessions are set up to build confidence when working with horses and to educate the rider/handler on safety. Our goal is to have you complete these courses and be well rounded in the proper care and handling of the horse or pony. The majority of work will be on the ground, not mounted. We will cater to different levels by offering easier exercises or more challenging exercises for the advanced rider.

* All students wanting to be an apprentice or working student MUST take one of these courses.

Private birthday parties are available at our facility for your child and up to 15 of their friends.

The children will experience two full hours of fun and excitement while we entertain them with pony rides and a mini horsemanship lesson at our Equestrian Center.

Our lounge is available for decoration and is the perfect place to celebrate with your food and drinks.  Please provide Horizons East with your decorations 24hrs before the scheduled party.  We will provide all the set-up and clean up for your party.

Total cost of party will depend on the number of children attending, but is usually between $375-$500.

Release forms need to be sent out with your party invitations and must be returned to Horizons East a full day before the birthday party event.  Children should come dressed in full length pants and closed toe shoes.

Please contact Horizons East at (925) 960-9696 for more info. A $150 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your party date.  Parties can be scheduled from 2:00pm-4:00pm, Tuesday-Sunday.  Our facility is closed on Mondays.  Parties will be held rain our shine in our covered arena.
